‘Seesaw’ App for Parents
Dear Parent/s and Carer/s,
All classes across our school will be using the ‘Seesaw’ App to document student learning from this term.
All parents and carers are invited to download the ‘Seesaw Parent and Family’ app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. This will allow you access to your child’s learning journal and it will enable you to receive notifications when new photos or videos of your child are added.
The instructions to sign up to Seesaw are below. Your child’s class teacher will receive a notification when you have signed up so he/she can start sharing photos or videos of your child’s learning. Privacy information regarding the third party server that stores all images is attached.
iPhone, iPad & Android Phones
1. Download “Seesaw Parent and Family” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Start Seesaw Parent and Family App and tap “Create Account”. Scan the QR Code below
3. Create an account.
4. Allow notifications if you'd like to be notified when new content has been added to your child’s journal.
Other Smartphones & Computers
1. Go to https://app.seesaw.me/s/006-830-509 in any web browser.
2. Choose your child from the class list and create an account.
3. After you’ve been approved by your child’s teacher, you’ll get access to their journal.
Please return the attached permission slip to your child’s class teacher by Friday 31st July to indicate your consent to images of your child and their work being shared via the Seesaw application.
