Sporting Schools Grant- Hook In 2 Hockey Program

The Sporting Schools Grant helps to provide a range of sporting programs that will increase children’s interest and participation in sport. It also aims to create stronger links between children and local sporting clubs, nurturing a lifelong love of sport. 

St Andrews Public School has been successful in obtaining a Sporting Schools grant in Term 3. This funding will provide Year 3 & 4 students with an opportunity to participate in the Hook in 2 Hockey program.

Hook in 2 Hockey provides students with a fun environment in which to learn the game of hockey and perfect the skills in a modified game-based program, all delivered at St Andrews Public School by accredited coaches.

Year 3 students will attend 4 x 60 minute lessons on Tuesdays across the term. Year 4 will participate in the program on Thursdays. All equipment will be provided and there is no cost to students.
